Rainbow Six Siege was one of the first live service games to pledge support for PS5 and Xbox Series X. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War co-developer Treyarch has confirmed that on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game will support 120fps. Separately, ray tracing will also be supported on the same next-gen versions. Despite the magnitude of this news, Treyarch didn’t offer any further details. 120fps will likely be limited to multiplayer modes, but it’s also possible it could be supported across all of the game’s modes. Traditionally, both multiplayer and single-player targeted 60fps, but multiplayer kept to its target more consistently....
