As per a new press release from the company, Bungie plans to open a new office in Amsterdam in 2022 that will serve as the studio’s publishing and marketing hub that will ensure “Bungie’s ongoing commitment to unify and expand on their passionate player community all over the world.” The announcement also confirmed that the studio will expand the size of its Bellevue, Washington headquarters that will more than double the studio’s space (increasing to 208,000 square feet from 84,000 square feet)....

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone update addresses a few bugs, but primarily fixes the issue of weapon models corrupting on screen. Xbox One users should note this is a rather large patch, coming in at 66.3GB. The reason for the size, according to Infinity Ward, is due to an “unforeseen bug” with the Microsoft patch delivery process. Because of this, Xbox One users will have to redownload files they already have....

The latest entry in the seemingly-eternal shooter series is now just £35 on console from Tesco. It’s up for purchase through their online service, though you’ll probably have to pay an extra fee for delivery that’ll bump the price up by another few quid. Still, it sounds like the offer is also available in stores. Another classic case of a big supermarket using Call of Duty as a bit of a loss-leader to get you into the shops to buy bread and booze, too....

The Red Door is believed to be the codename for Call of Duty 2020. The same codename was spotted on PSN last month, when alpha development builds made their way onto Sony’s servers. Things have been quiet since then; the original listing remains, and Activision has yet to officially unveil this year’s Call of Duty. Now, the Microsoft Store has gotten in on that codename action. The Red Door now has its own page on the store, with the same red keyhole cover....

Some four months later, and here we are: our first proper look at Street Fighter 6. In a new State of Play stream hosted by PlayStation, Capcom built on the previous CGI trailer to show us what we can actually expect when we finally get the game in our hands. The game is coming to both PS4 and PS5 in 2023. Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam) have also been announced as target platforms for the game....

If you’re bored of waiting for CD Projekt to fix Cyberpunk 2077, you can now go snowboarding in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Get it? As spotted by PCGamesN, there’s a new mod called Geralt VGX Snowboarder over on Nexus Mods which allows the silver-haired monster hunter to go carve up the mountain, thanks. In order to do this, you have to head to the altar overlooking the Kaer Trolde bay in Skellige to pick up the snowboard....

I’m a big fan of idle games. Sometimes, you fancy the stimulation of playing a video game without the brain gymnastics needed for a Soulslike RPG, or the muscle memory required for your favourite fighting game. It’s being reported that several investors of CD Projekt are eyeing up a move to potentially sue CD Projekt over its handling of the release of Cyberpunk 2077. It’s been a historically rough time for the company since it released the game the other week. What should have been a time of celebration has turned into an ever-growing pile of complaints from all corners. It’s seen the game pulled from PlayStation stores and a mass of refunds requests, especially from previous-gen players....

The share price of Polish games firm CD Projekt has plummeted after Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 was pulled from sale on the PlayStation Store. The company’s stock closed at PLN309.20 ($85.19) yesterday, Thursday, December 17, but opened at just PLN260 ($71.63) this morning. That’s a 15.9% decrease overnight and a 40% drop from the all-time high CD Projekt shares hit in August, back when the company was worth PLN42.4 billion ($11....

In the ticketed version of this Pokemon Go event, you’ll choose between the Red Version or Green Version of the event, and each will feature version-exclusive Pokemon. You will be completing event-exclusive Special Research, and testing your Pokemon-collection skills, and trading with a friend who can choose the other version will be important, just like it was in Red and Green. During the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto, the first 150 Pokemon originally discovered in this region will be available as Shiny Polemon - some for the first time ever....

The coronavirus outbreak has caused delays in manufacturing in China, and Nintendo is about to feel this in Switch stock. Although Nintendo’s main assembly operation was recently moved to Vietnam, certain components continue to be made in China. This supply has taken a hit as a result of coronavirus, with those familiar with the supply chain telling Bloomberg that they expect Switch stock to suffer in North America and Europe sometime after the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in late March/early April....

The action begins with a petty thief being transported in a prison bus, a guard giving him grief about how his mother was a good woman. We know he’s a mean guard because he’s unshaven and has a moustache and does some swearing. Our hero, meanwhile, is just a bit surly. The bus explodes and our lad is flung around a bit, waking up in a hospital. After a little sneaking and a tussle, he’s saved by a military dude from Black List (just in case you’re not sure this is a classified outfit, it’s literally called Black List)....

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy features the single-player remasters of Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3, optimized in partnership with Saber Interactive. The three-game bundle will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and for PC, with the game playing “even smoother” on next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Crysis Remastered is available for these platforms now, and the remasters of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 will also be made available separately....

The news comes from Reddit, where one poster attempted to calculate Cyberpunk 2077 day length while watching Night City Wire with a stopwatch. They concluded that one in-game hour was approximately 420 seconds. They were wrong. “My timing seems to have been off by .5 seconds,” wrote the poster. “It has been confirmed 3 hours = a full day in-game time.” They proceeded to note that a full day in The Witcher 3 lasts roughly 1 hour and 36 minutes, meaning that Cyberpunk 2077 day length is almost twice as long as that of CD Projekt Red’s previous blockbuster....

Death Stranding is no stranger to crossover events. Earlier this year, to celebrate the release of Half-Life: Alyx, a Headcrab and a Gravity Glove were added to the game. It also rather famously promoted Monster Energy, and the show Ride with Norman Reedus in-game. It seems that Hideo Kojima’s hiking adventure is ready for a new major collaboration too. The game’s Steam page announced that a free update for the game is celebrating the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077....

CD Projekt Red has been steadily rolling out Cyberpunk 2077 patches since the game released. This latest one is available now on PC as well as consoles. As is often the case with these updates, the list of notes is small, as they’re meant to be addressing specific problems. Hotfix 1.06’s biggest change is that brings a fix for the save file corruption bug on PC which usually happens when the file size exceeds 8MB....

Photo mode in Cyberpunk 2077 will have various options, as you can see in the latest trailer. The options are flying by in the video, but it appears you will be able to pan the camera out, change poses, fiddle with the lighting, mess with the contrast, change the field of view, aperture, and more. We won’t have much longer to wait on the game, as it is out next week on December 10....

I played Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, back before it was released to the world and chaos ensued. At the time, I thought the game was, y’know, pretty great. It wasn’t perfect. Its love of sledgehammer-level subtlety grated, and it wasn’t a GTA-quality open world (though it was arguably never going to be so, coming from a studio a fraction of the size of Rockstar). But it was an interesting, exciting open world, with some gloriously breakable RPG systems, decent shooting, and a branching story structure that I honestly found to be surprisingly compelling and engaging....

If you pre-order Demon’s Souls digitally, you will receive the Reaper Scythe weapon. If this sounds familiar, it’s because the official store page revealed the new weapon as a pre-order bonus a couple of weeks ago, and then removed it. The Reaper Scythe is a pole weapon with a curved blade and can “mow down” enemies in a single blow, but is difficult to handle and requires both strength and dexterity to use....
