You see, some folks have been upset since Niantic reverted Community Day’s hours back to a pre-Covid timeframe in April. When Covid hit, the studio extended Community Day from three to six hours, which gave players plenty of time to get out and about without having to come into contact with many people. For those who work weekends, the change in event time was also welcome because it meant they would be able to participate at some point....

Niantic is testing a new feature that will allow you to see which Pokemon could hatch from your eggs in Pokemon Go. This is currently being tested with a limited number of Trainers, and those testing the feature will be able to tap an egg to see a list of possible Pokemon and their rarity level. But, you will not be able to see whether the possible Pokemon is Shiny or not....

Pokemon Go trainers can now trade an eligible Pokemon with no Candy cost to evolve. Some of the Pokemon who can gain Evolution benefits from trading include Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler, and Haunter. Should you have received one of these creatures in a past trade they will retroactively qualify for no Candy cost when evolving. More Pokemon originally discovered in the Unova region are also coming. These Pokemon will also benefit from trade Evolution....

Patch 8.2 for PUBG has been released on the PC’s live servers, following a week of testing. The patch follows just a few weeks after the Sanhok overhaul that kicked off Season 8 in July. The biggest new arrival with 8.2 is the MG3, a powerful, crate-only LMG. The MG3 has a high 990 rate of fire that makes it deadly. You can also toggle on a slower, 660 ROF for better accuracy....

Today sees the release of PUBG’s update 12.2, which is live on PC test servers. The patch brings a number of notable additions to the game, but probably its biggest piece of content is the new map: Taego. As previously announced, Taego is the game’s first 8x8km map since Miramar. Set in Korea, Taego is similar to Erangel, with varied terrain and a mix of metropolitan and rural areas, including housing compounds and dense towns....

SEGA has released the update for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. This free content will also be made available on the Steam version when it releases later this month on March 23. Over the weekend, Ubisoft officially revealed Thunderbird, the new operator coming to Rainbow Six Siege with Year 6 Season 2. Thunderbird is a defender from the Nakoda nation (North American First Nation), and she’s the main component of the new operation, dubbed North Star. Thunderbird’s main gadget is the Kona Healing Station, which heals not just allies, but enemies as well, so long as they’re close to the device. Healing is similar to Doc’s pistol, meaning it could potentially act as an overshield that dissipates overtime....

Rockstar has confirmed today that Blood Money is the previously revealed summer update for Red Dead Online. The free update, available on July 13 on all platforms, chiefly adds homestead robberies. Available across the game’s five states, those opportunities are offered by Angelo Bronte’s right-hand man, Guido Martelli, who calls on you to recover private bonds - known as Capitale - that should not have ended up in the wrong hands....

Those on the Bounty Hunting, Trading, and Collecting train in Red Dead Online this week will receive 25% Character XP and Role XP boosts playing role-specific Free Roam Events. These Free Roam Events are only available to players who have reached the required rank four in the associated role, and include Day of Reckoning, Manhunt, Trade Route, Condor Egg, and Salvage. Also this week, 2,000 bonus role XP will be doled out to those returning a Legendary Bounty, completing the Gold Panners Dream weekly collection, or succeeding in a Trader Sell Mission....

Developer Psyonix has added some new features to minimise the risk of Rocket League players having seizures. In a blog post on its site, the studio said that it was introducing a new option to the settings menu called Effect Intensity, which impacts “the intensity and motion” of visual effects in the Neon Fields arena. This new area was introduced at the end of 2020 as part of the Rocket League Season 2 round of content....

Announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X at DC FanDome 2020, the game was originally slated to release sometime this year. The news was first reported by the BBC, who exposed the culprit in question as a site called “MyTechDomestic.” According to the report, MyTechDomestic surfaced online back in April, and managed to steadily inch its way into suggested ad slots over a number of weeks.
