The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla show will be streamed on Friday, November 6, and hosted by cast member Danny Wallace, who portrays Shaun Hastings in the Assassin’s Creed series. The stream will also feature Magnus Bruun, the Danish actor behind male Eivor. It will also cover an extended BAFTA Guru feature with narrative director Darby McDevitt which explores the storytelling of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. You can also expect an extended gameplay segment showcasing the game on Xbox Series X, rappers Dan Bull and Lethal Bizzle will also provide a modern take on flyting battles, and a game-show featuring a raven named Loki....

For the more casual players, interested in less intensive and more cosy affairs, there’s the likes of Poinpy, Krispee Street, and Knittens. If you’re a nut for Stranger Things and have been humming Running Up That Hill and Master of Puppets since the one-two punch of those musical finales, you’ll probably find the likes of Stranger Things 3: The Game and Stranger Things: 1984 both worth your time. Given that the PS5 had big hitters Spider-Man Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls arrive alongside it, Astro’s Playroom being my favorite launch game is hugely surprising. Back in Septmeber, we got news that Bright Memory Infinite, the first-person shooter created by solo developer FYQD Studio, would launch on on Xbox Series S/X at some point this year. As we trudge diligently towards 2022, there’s still no word of a console release date for the title – but at least we’ve got word on the PC version. Bright Memory Infinite, as per the new trailer above, will arrive on PC via Steam and GOG on November 11....

Destiny 2 developer Bungie is rolling out new seasonal challenges for its sci-fi shooter. In a blog post, the studio said this new content would cut down on the amount of FOMO that players felt towards Destiny 2. This new system will see 3 to 10 challenges appearing each week to players for the first ten weeks of every season. This will push players to a variety of modes in the game, including strikes, Gambit, and the Crucible, as well as seasonal content....

Infinity Ward has announced Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone will be deployed later today at 11pm PDT. That’s tomorrow, June 11 at 2am EDT, 7am BST. This weekend, the final bonus XP event in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare’s Season 2 will go live. Through it, you’ll be earning double XP, double weapon XP and double tier progression in the Battle Pass. This all goes live on all platforms on Friday, April 3 at 10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm UK, and will remain active until Monday, April 6 at those same times. As you might have already guessed, this will be the last event of its kind before the season ends, and Season 3 begins on Tuesday, April 7....

Right on schedule, Infinity Ward has outlined the new and returning modes Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare players will see this week in both games. On the Warzone side, Realism mode, which replaced vanilla Quads, is going away. This will allow Quads proper to return, making all four player splits available once again. Warzone Rumble will continue to be there, alongside Plunder Blood Money Quads. Things are a little bit more exciting on the Modern Warfare side of things with the debut of All or Nothing....

Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare just received the Season three patch. As promised, it kicks off a new season, adds a new Battle Pass, and brings a tonne of new content to both games. A new cinematic trailer shows off what CoD players can expect when Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One arrives after a short delay on December 16. The latest glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone is not an abusable glitch or a meta-ruling overpowered weapon, it’s actually a skin bought off the in-game store. Recently, a number of players ran into an issue where their attacker appears invisible. They can shoot just fine, but look to be blinking in and out of existence. After some investigation, it became clear that it’s not a glitch, but a bug related to a particular skin....

Game Informer recently shared an exclusive look at Resident Evil 4 Remake, in particular a 12 minute gameplay video showing off some of Chapter 5. This particular chapter is set right after Leon meets Ashley, and offers a good uninterrupted segment to help you know what you’re in for if you’re planning to pick the game up. The gameplay shows Leon, alongside Ashley, navigating through the church and cemetery area, fending off enemies as they do so....
