The mid-Season 4 update for Call of Duty: Warzone brought with it a significant number of changes to the battle royale mode, or as developer Raven calls it, Warzone’s “biggest balance update ever”. But players also grew to expect every patch to introduce some undocumented changes. This time around, there was the DualSense support added to Black Ops Cold War on PC, as well as two other welcome additions to Warzone....

One of the first ever post-launch crossover costumes arrives later today in Fall Guys. The new outfit is modelled after the Scout class in Team Fortress 2. The new skin is a pretty close approximation of the original Scout design, with the same iconic light red t-shirt and brown shorts. The Scout’s cap and and orange headset are, too, part of the costume. If you want to look like the Team Fortress 2 Scout, however, you’ll need to buy the new skin, which arrives at the in-game store later today....

The release of Far Cry 6 was recently pushed back to the first half of Ubisoft’s next fiscal year, i.e., sometime between April 2021 and March 2022. Dubbed Hypermotion2 by EA Sports, players in FIFA 23 will have a greater freedom of motion than in previous years and move less robotically in response to dynamic conditions. These movements draw on motion capture data from more real-life games than previously, which are then fed into a machine learning algorithm that can generate movement animations in real time in response to what’s happening on the pitch in your match....

Back in June, Square Enix tempered Final Fantasy fans’ expectations and told those eager to learn mort about that game that they shouldn’t expect to see the title at Tokyo Game Show 2021. Yet, despite not showing more gameplay or debuting a new trailer at the show, we did hear something else – a small update on the game courtesy of Yoshida. Per VGC, Naoki Yoshida reassured fans that Final Fantasy 16’s main design is complete and explained that the development team is currently working on wrapping up the various side quests that will be present in the game, as well as finalising the character models and making a few quality improvements....

The bears’ secret hideout has been taken over by gnomes, and you need to deescalate the war between them. The secret hideout can be found in a cabin in the northwest of Weeping Woods, so head over there to get started. Last season, you were tasked with finding hidden Gnomes around the map. For this Overtime Challenge, you’ll need to find and destroy several Gnomes over the next few weeks. You’re looking for Gnomes in Camp Cod or Fort Crumpet and depending on how many opponents there are in the area, you might need to complete this challenge over several matches. Following news that the German government is banning public gatherings until the end of August, gamescom 2020 organisers have posted an update to explain what’s going to happen to the show this year. For starters, gamescom 2020 won’t be delayed to take place physically at any other point in the year. Instead, organisers will focus entirely on a digital version that will be taking place at the convention’s usual spot in late August, with more details to be revealed in the coming weeks....
