According to a report on VGC, some disagreements between Capcom and M-Two have led to the latter’s role in the Resident Evil 4 remake to be “significantly reduced” with Capcom’s Division 1 taking over development. The report states the disagreements stemmed from M-Two’s wanting to remain faithful to the original Resident Evil 4 partially due to the backlash received from RE3’s remake over its exclusion of “significant portions of the original PlayStation game....
Just last week, we saw Castlevania Advance Collection – which collects the Game Boy Advance games in the series – rated by Australia’s classification board. Following that accidental reveal, the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has rated Castlevania Advance Collection for PC, too, suggesting the game is due for release sooner rather than later. Three Castlevania games listed above were all released for Game Boy Advance handheld console between 2001 to 2003....

Earlier this week, the creators of the two JRPGs announced a supposed first for Kickstarter, a double Kickstarter, for two games; Armed Fantasia, a spiritual successor to Wild Arms, and Pennyblood, in turn a spiritual successor to Shadow Hearts. The campaign opens up tomorrow, August 29, and seeks to raise $750,000. Armed Fantasia is being developed by Wild Bunch Productions, and as reported by RPG Site, consists of numerous members of key staff that worked on the Wild Arms series....
In today’s bit of unusual news, the Cyberpunk 2077 delay to December has had a knock-on effect on an entirely unrelated game. Path of Exile, whose 3.13 endgame expansion was set for release December 11 - one day after Cyberpunk 2077 - will now push back the update’s release to January. Developer Grinding Gear Games said, very clearly, that it doesn’t want players to have to choose between Path of Exile and CD Projekt Red’s highly anticipated dystopian RPG....
The news comes from Press Start, who recently published a report on the Cyberpunk 2077 Japan version. According to the report, the Japanese version will receive a significant amount of changes. Characters that would be naked in the ordinary version will now be wearing underwear and some of the content deemed to be sexually explicit has been revised. Severing body parts has also been revised, as has the amount of gore in combat....
Three Fields Entertainment announced today it was working on Dangerous Driving 2 for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. According to the developer, the game is set in a dynamic open world, where you can compete against AI opponents or play in freedrive mode. It can be played solo or in split-screen multiplayer, and you can compete against others online. The game is set for release this holiday. Three Fields is made up for ex-Criterion developers, and if you are attending PAx East 2020 next week, you’ll be able to get hands-on with the Switch version....
There’s a new Dark Souls mod, and it comes courtesy of Grimrukh, the modder behind the game’s excellent Daughters of Ash mod. Rather than restore cut content, Roguelike Souls turns the game into a rogue-like. The goal of this mod is simple: it switches Dark Souls’ traditional RPG progression with that of a rogue-like. Enemies, bosses and even items are all randomised each time you start a run. You may also find familiar faces in unusual spots....
The Dead Space remake is being developed exclusively for next-generation consoles and PC, with updated visuals, audio, and controls powered using the Frostbite engine. With the remake, you can expect an improved story, characters, gameplay mechanics, and more while you are fighting to survive aboard the mining starship USG Ishimura. In the game, you play Isaac, an engineer on a mission to repair a ship called the USG Ishimura. Upon coming on board, you discover the ship’s crew has been slaughtered and infected with some sort of scourge....

Photo Mode features a wide array of camera customizations to help you capture your adventures through Blackreef.
