As picked up by Eurogamer, the studio has correctly attributed technical level design director Cloe Veilleux with her role – which she was promoted to during production. The company also listed her name correcetly, despite the fact that she only legally changed it ten days before leaving the studio about a year ago when she came out. “It makes me feel like there was a conscious decision to keep my name in that role, and I do not know who I have to thank for this,” Veilleux told Eurogamer....

In the game, the Zone will be yours to explore as a post-apocalyptic open-world and one of the biggest ones to date for the series. Following yesterday’s fiasco with Returnal patch 1.3.3 corrupting players’ saves, developer Housemarque has officially detailed the next steps. For starters, a new patch has been released - version 1.3.4 - that includes changes in 1.3.3, while fixing the save corruption bug. Everyone should download this patch. The new open-world, third-person action RPG is set in Gotham City, immediately after the death of Batman. Whilst tasked with fighting crime and protecting the citizens of Gotham City: Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood and Robin must battle and take down secret society: the Court of Owls and their loyal Talon assassins. Gotham Knights has been in development for a couple of years now and was initially set for a 2021 release....

Thankfully, Rockstar has posted more screenshots from the Switch version, giving us a better insight into what the project will look like on less powerful hardware (and perhaps hinting what the mobile versions of the games will look like when they launch, too). IO Interactive is working on a new project to be published by Microsoft for Xbox. That’s according to a Windows Central report, which has been corroborated by Eurogamer. The original report states that the game is very early in development, and that it’s a fantasy IP. It’s going to take place in a medieval setting, and feature dragons. Sources told Eurogamer that the project is “AAA in scope” and will be set in a large world....

Back in 2020, Avalanche announced that it would be working on a new Harry Potter RPG, based on the universe established by JK Rowling. In the midst of Rowling’s on-going transphobic commentary, the studio distanced itself from the author as she continued down a path of belligerent intolerance. According to South Korean financial news outlet MTN, Sony has partnered with the Guild Wars developer and publisher on the game’s creation. News of the reported MMO comes from sources familiar with the matter at Sony and NCSoft, and while development has yet to start, NCSoft curently has job listings up for a game tited “Project H” (thanks, GamesRadar). NCSoft has been the publisher and co-developer of the ArenaNet MMO Guild Wars since 2002 when it acquired the studio formed by former Blizzard staffers....
