The worst kept secret over the last couple of weeks, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, is now available for PS4. Starting today, if you own a PS4, you can play the fully restored and remastered campaign in up to 4K resolution and HDR support on console. Announced last night (October 31) via the MultiVersus Twitter, the NBA champion and MultiVersus character has since been disabled as the result of a “critical bug.” The tweet also said that the character would be enabled again once the bug has been fixed. There’s no telling how long this could be. Why exactly was LeBron James removed from MultiVersus? Well, according to players on Twitter who have taken to mainly sharing memes about the character’s removal, it’s because LeBron James special attack - his dunk - is supposed to see his ball removed from his hands....

Word of the game first appeared on Reddit and the information was verified by GamesBeat journalist, and someone who sports an awesome head of hair, Jeff Grubb. The next Borderlands game is apparently not a numbered sequel, but some sort of interesting spin-off. That’s according to a Gamereactor report, which suggests that we’ll be hearing about it officially soon. GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb said on his show that he’s heard rumblings about the same project. Interestingly, however, Grubb added that it may not be entirely developed by series creator Gearbox. Gearbox co-founder Randy Pitchford addressed these rumours on Twitter, denying that Gearbox would be a co-developer on any Borderlands game....

This is according to YouTuber j0nathan, who revealed various details on the game, including an expected spring 2023 release. Currently in development under the codename Rift, j0nathan confirmed the Baghdad location, and said the timeline is set between 860 and 870. As reported by Bloomberg previously, the game is set to star Basim from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and will be smaller in scale compared to typical games in the series as it originally started life as an expansion for Valhalla....

You might remember back in November major leaks of content in Pokemon Sword & Shield hit the internet. These leaks began almost two weeks before the game was due to release, and got gradually worse closer to the official release date. It seems Nintendo detectives were on the case, however, and the company has now revealed that it worked with The Pokemon Company to identify the culprit....

Nintendo Switch owners worldwide should now have firmware update 10.0.0. Unlike most of the recent updates, this particular release is full of welcome, helpful features. The biggest highlight is that Switch now allows users to transfer data between system memory and SD cards and vice versa. This applies to game data, DLC, updates and so on. For some games, save data - and in some cases, update data - cannot be transferred, however....

According to a new Bloomberg report, Sony is planning to manufacture fewer PS5 units in the console’s first year, compared to PS4. Although production capacity is unaffected, disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic along with the console’s expected higher price may drive demand down. People familiar with Sony’s supply chain say they expect 5 to 6 million units to be produced before the end of March 2021 (the current fiscal year)....

Indie games have been showing up in full force recently thanks to E3, and they just keep getting better and better. The latest one to grab my attention is OlliOlli World and it is pretty damn good. Don’t let its cosy art style fool you, it gets pretty challenging when you start to pick up the pace, flipping, grinding, and finding the right flow to complete quests and missions. It’s still a chill game, though, and when I’m not getting absolutely wrecked in Valorant or League of Legends, OlliOlli World is how I’m going to destress....

The EAGate scandal, which saw EA staff allegedly sell rare FIFA Ultimate Team cards to players for thousands of dollars, allowing them to skip the process of playing the game or spending money on loot boxes, won’t be one EA forgets very soon.
