Italian studio Modus Games has shown off a roughly 11 minute long look at the action adventure game Soulstice, which has some very strong Devil May Cry vibes. The game stars a pair of sisters, Briar and Lute, who have been “reborn as a chimera.” According to the description for the trailer, this “transformation has granted Briar superhuman strength and resilience, while Lute, who was sacrificed in order to bind her soul to her sister’s, has become a ghost with mystical powers....

These characters are two Jawas going by the joint name of Utooni who are “scrappers with an arsenal of hidden firepower.” As you can see, one is sitting on top of the other’s shoulders. Jawas are a sentient species of short humanoids native to the Outer Rim desert world of Tatooine. Other characters shown in the trailer include the Sith warrior Rieve, Mandalorian Aran Tal, Sling Shot who is a porcine sentient humanoid known as a Ugnaught, the droid J-3D1, the Wookie Grozz, Zaina, Imara Vex, and a Stormtrooper....

Developer Undead Labs published a new update for State of Decay 2 on Xbox Series S and Series X that optimizes the game for next-gen hardware, as well as introducing a new difficulty level, more achievements, and more besides. As outlined in a post over on the Xbox site, Undead Labs’ latest patch has brought faster load times, improved world and shadow detail, and more graphical enhancements besides to the new consoles – both of which will run the game at 60fps and up to 4K....

Steve is the next fighter to be added as part of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Pass 2. Four more characters are yet to be revealed for the pass. Alongside Steve are Alex, Zombie, and Enderman. Steve and Alex are coming with a new stage and seven music tracks from the Minecraft series. The streamer in question - who goes by the handle CZR - regularly publishes a mix of drum covers and gaming videos to his YouTube channel. Occasionally, he combines the two and speedruns iconic games using a pair of drumsticks instead of an ordinary controller. Check out the video below, which shows CZR speed-drumming his way through Super Mario 64 in under 30 minutes. It’s worth noting that this is a Super Mario 64 16 Star drumming speedrun, meaning that you need to collect 16 stars and complete the game as quickly as possible while only having access to a drum kit....

During the reported six months, the Switch family of systems sold 6.7 million units, bringing the lifetime total to 114.3 million units. The teaser was an in-game poster that depicted what looked like a Norse god holding up an Apple of Eden, one of the Assassin’s Creed series’ mysterious objects of power. Above the figure was the word “Valhalla”. Back when it was discovered, Kotaku reported on the tease while also revealing the existence of a Viking-themed Assassin’s Creed game, codenamed Kingdom. That game now has a name: Valhalla. But Ubisoft says the person who made the poster in The Division 2 couldn’t have been aware of the next Assassin’s Creed game....

The game leans heavily on the Match-3 genre of puzzle game, or rather, Match-4 in this instance. Throughout The Legend of Bum-bo, you’ll be taken through four levels that are packed with foes to fight, however, your fighting is done via matching four or more tiles on the board. Information on the upcoming release appeared in a now-deleted post on 4Chan (via Pink News) by an alleged “immediate family member” of staff at Naughty Dog. As with any rumor - particularly one which reared its head on 4Chan - take it with a big grain of salt. But if you don’t want to risk spoilers, then it’s probably better if you don’t read on. The archived plot leak claims The Last of Us 2 will center around a budding romance between protagonist Ellie and love-interest Dina - a plot point that has already been confirmed by the game’s developers....
