A free pack is now available for PlayStation Plus subscribers who play Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare. The Combat Pack (Season Three) includes a few cosmetic items for use in multiplayer and Warzone. This season’s pack seems very elaborate, and comes with a unique character skin for Wyatt (The Woodsman), a K98 sniper rifle blueprint (Open Season), a pistol blueprint, a tactical knife, a weapon charm, an animated calling card, a spray and 60 minutes of double weapon XP....
While the featured Pokemon have yet to be revealed, it’s at least nice to know when the Community Days are coming so we can make plans ahead of time. However, the buzz around the internet points to either Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie being the March Community Day Pokemon. But, since Niantic has yet to announce the Pokemon, it’s all just collective guessing at this point. Niantic, the developer behind the widely successful phenomenon Pokemon Go, is teaming up with Nintendo to turn one of its other brands into an AR game. That being Pikmin. The studio announced the partnership on Monday, confirming that a Pikmin-based app would be the first to be produced. Similar to Pokemon Go, the Pikmin app will be based on Niantic’s mobile AR tech. Gameplay will revolve around “activities to encourage walking and make walking more delightful,” which sounds like a different take on Pokemon Go, itself a social game that encouraged players to explore the world around them....
A game that’s designed to be played out-and-about with friends or even strangers is obviously going to struggle in the age of lockdown and social distancing. To their credit, the team behind Pokemon Go had the good sense to pivot early on in this hell year, and they’ve been pivoting ever since, delaying some planned features in favor of others that’d make the game easier to play while socially distanced, or from home....
It takes time and more than a bit of patience, though. Unlike some Pokemon the Paldea Pokedex says are rare, Frigibax actually is rare and doesn’t like showing up too often. It takes a while for Frigibax to reach their full potential, like all dragon Pokemon, but Frigibax is absolutely worth spending time finding, raising, and breeding. Frigibax in Scarlet and Violet Frigibax location in Scarlet and Violet Frigibax calls Glaseado Mountain its home, which is a bit of a problem for new trainers, since the mountain is at Paldea’s far northern tip....
The poll was initially posted on the official Pokemon Go Twitter page, and was between four iconic Gen 1 Pokemon: Charmander, Porygon, Caterpie, and Grimer. After almost 1 million votes were cast, there were two clear winners - Porygon alone raked in over half of the votes. Niantic was quick to announce that Porygon, the Pokemon with the most votes overall, would be available to catch during the September Community Day, whereas Charmander, who came in second place, would be making an appearance the following month....
Originally slated to arrive on January 21, 2021, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has been delayed to March 18. The news comes from a post on Ubisoft’s Czech Republic Facebook page, but has since been pulled. Whether it has been delayed in all regions remains to be seen, as again, the post was pulled. Luckily, Gematsu gathered the information beforehand. “2020 was a year like no other, and today we would like to inform you that we need more time to complete the game,” read the post....
Sony has confirmed that the title is a console exclusive to the PlayStation 5 until May 21, 2021, meaning that publisher Gearbox is free to bring the game to Xbox hardware from that point. How long it will take the looter-slasher to make the leap to the Series X and S is yet to be seen. The game is set to release for PlayStation 5 and PC – via the Epic Games Store – on November 12....
Sony’s Chinese arm has announced that the PS5 will be made available in the country at some point in the second quarter (March-June). The news was revealed in a Chinese New Year greetings video. As pointed out by Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, Sony actually got hardware approvals back in December, for both the standard PS5 as well as the Digital Edition. Sony is currently working on getting software approvals....
The chief new addition is support for 1440p resolution, which is very useful for players using their PS5 with a PC monitor, or any display that can only go up to 1440p. This resolution is a midway point between the ageing 1080p, and the demanding 4K. Previously, the PS5 was only able to detect either. 1440p support can be tested using a button in the settings menu, to make sure your display supports it....
Update: According to an official statement from CD Projekt handed to VG247, the team is working to introduce “a separate warning splash screen in the game,” which will be something more than the warning in the EULA. “The team here were pretty shaken by reading about Liana’s experience and will definitely put this aspect of the game under more scrutiny! We’ve also reached out to her to chat if everything’s fine and thanked her for the piece, it has given us some invaluable insight” reads the statement....

Advent Children was a garish, incoherent epilogue that softened the original game’s ending and helped push the world further into the more generic anime aesthetic it finds itself in today. After all of that, the proposition of a prequel was downright threatening. A sequel you can ignore, a prequel presents real risk of irreversibly damaging the source material....
Earlier this week, physical games and merchandise retailer iam8bit announced that Psychonauts 2 will be getting a physical release on PS4 and Xbox One/ Series X. This isn’t technically the first physical release of the game, as some that backed the game on Fig back in the day were able to secure a physical copy, but this does mark the first time the game is receiving a broader physical release....

The new PUBG patch released on test servers last week, but it hit live servers on PC this morning.
