Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation owners should log into Stardew Valley and apply the latest update. There is a small issue with the update causing a “blue ground” bug which is being investigated. According to ConcernedApe, it is only happening in one specific area, and is only a visual bug. The issue is being investigated and will be patched. Update 1.5 adds “late-game” content to Stardew Valley and adds the largest amount of content added to the game since launch. With the update, you can expect a big Beach Farm full of fishing and foraging opportunities, and the chance for a rare supply crate to wash up on the shore. Also new is an Advanced Game Options button which allows you to customize your playthrough. Here, you can remix Community Center bundles, and mine rewards, adding a randomized variety to what you can get out of the mine chests. It also adds split-screen, local co-op to the game. To start, visit Robin and build special cabins. Once the cabins are there, open your game menu, scroll down to multiplayer, and select “Start local co-op”. The other players can now join by pressing start on a controller connected. There’s plenty more in the update, and you can look over a spoiler-free list of what else to expect below.
